iHyper 2.2

iHyper is a tool designed for generating Markdown or HTML hyperlinks suitable for use in emails, messaging platforms, Drafts 4, and other applications.

The application can be initiated by selecting the iHyper icon, through the Today Widget, or by utilizing the URL scheme (ihyper://).

Upon activation, iHyper attempts to retrieve a URL from the clipboard. If the clipboard does not contain a valid URL, it prompts the user to input a URL manually for processing.

The application recognizes most standard browser URL formats. For instance, both "MacSparky.com" and "http://www.MacSparky.com" are accepted and processed equivalently.

iHyper validates the extracted URL by attempting to establish a connection. If successful, it retrieves the page's title and generates a formatted hyperlink in Markdown format.

The resulting link is ready for immediate use in either Markdown or HTML form. Users can directly share these links through Messages, Email, or Drafts 4, or copy them to the clipboard for use in other applications.
